Wake My Love
by: Kat Jones
Forgotten love, who dares remember?
Sweet old strains of frozen lullabies;
Misty mornings and heavy embers,
Feed darkened nights in diamond eyes.
Fly again sweet life,
On golden breath,
On mountain dream,
On silver smile;
Gone, yet here;
In death yet sleeping,
Wake my love,
And stay a while?
